Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Restaurant General Manager with over five years of leadership in the food service industry. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient management of staff, and adherence to food safety standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and proper food handling procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage POS systems such as Toast for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
  • Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations to build a skilled and engaged team.
  • Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency during busy hours.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to food production, sanitation, and hospitality practices.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to uphold our reputation for outstanding service in casual dining or quick service environments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality operation with a strong background in food service management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supervising staff, conducting interviews, training & development initiatives, and team leadership.
  • Proficiency with POS systems including Toast POS. Experience with cash handling is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, inventory control, and food safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement effective food & labor management strategies.
  • Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
